University City Public Library - September 12, 2014

Marianne Pepper and I hung our work last Tuesday.  Thankfully Diane Papageorge helped hang mine . . . otherwise I might still be there.  This is one view of the gallery space.  The flag bunting was a part of the Lincoln exhibit that was up prior to our show so that should be coming down any day.  The work will be up through September 29 with an opening reception this Friday, September 12, from 6 -8PM. (Gallery is on the second floor.)

Sneak Preview at Lillian Yahn Gallery (Todd Reigle and Bonnie Murray)

It's definitely quite a mix of work.  I hope this motivates
some of you to venture out to Winghaven on July 14th.
Thanks to Diane for all her help!

Out for a Stroll #2 (Hand-Colored Collagraph of Wild Turkeys)

Here's the hand-colored version. I think I prefer the black and white version better. It is amazing how colorful these birds can be.

The image size of this hand-pulled print is 17" x 23", the paper size is 19.5" x 25".

Please note: to see a larger version of this guy just click on the image.

As the Crows Fly #1 (Original Collagraph of Birds)

Cornell Lab of Ornithology was seeking photos and artwork for their "Flights of Fancy" Challenge.  This is what I came up with.  The image size is 12" x 17.5" and is printed on Arches Cover White Paper.

Goose and Gander #1 (Original Collagraph)

Egyptian wall paintings were the inspiration for this original

I keep experimenting with different textures and ways to approach my technique.

Paper Size: 8.5" x 11" (21.6 cm x 27.94 cm)
Varied Edition
