I recently participated in the Open Studio Event presented by the Contemporary Art Museum. One of the people I met asked if I had ever done a pug. It has been in the back of my mind for some time so I guess that gave me a push. Both of these have some hand coloring. I think I prefer the black and white version. The image size is 7.25" x 9.5". The paper size is 9.5" x 11.5".
A friend of a friend asked me to do a collagraph portrait of their Morkie (combination of a Maltese and a Yorkshire Terrier). I haven't done a lot of work with dogs with longer hair so I wasn't sure how it would come out. Anyway these are two versions I came up with. The image size is 7.25" x 9.5". The paper size is 9.5" x 11.5".
I created this hand-colored collagraph of two black cats with golden eyes for a close friend of mine. I thought I would try a version with a blue background. I kind of like the flat blue even though the cats appear to be floating. I think if I had to choose I would go with the black and white version.
Here are a couple of versions of the peacock I created with a blue background. I had always intended to do one with a blue background and finally got a push from an interested client. The image size of the peacock is 28" x 21". Paper size is 31" x 24".
Another request. Happily this was the preferred composition.
